Success Story Highlight: Motivation

Nicolas Garibay was determined to succeed!

Nicolas Garibay, age 35, was determined to receive his High School Equivalency (HSE) certificate from the moment he allowed himself to dream BIG. His desire was to attend Cal Trade Welding School in Modesto, but soon realized that he needed an HSE certificate to enroll. While working a full time job, he studied day and night in between shifts to obtain his certificate. We have never seen someone so determined to reach their goal! Nicolas started welding school at CalTrade and has been a motivation so many around him.

Because of his determination, Learning Quest has decided to honor Nicolas and his wife at their black tie event in Los Angeles where he will receive an award and be provided with an all expenses paid trip. Our team is so proud of the hard work that Nicolas has put in.

We are so excited to see Nicolas succeed at Cal Trade Welding School. Nicolas is a part of our Prison to Employment program.
